Product Introduction
The standard 38mm diameter rod design is the most widely used universal size for tunneling cutting pick. Different head shapes are designed to be applicable for tunneling in various types of strata. The shapes of the pick seats vary, but the size of the installation holes is uniform. The cutting pick are directly installed onto the pick seats using retaining rings and spring clips, which makes it convenient for replacement.
Cutter pick Performance:
1.Raw Materials: The pick body is made of 42CrMo ultra-high strength steel. This steel features high strength, good toughness, excellent hardenability, and no obvious temper brittleness. After quenching and tempering, it has a high fatigue limit and multi-impact resistance.
2.Quality of Cemented Carbide(hard metal/hard alloy硬质合金): Based on different geological conditions of customers' construction projects, our products are equipped with cemented carbides of different grades. The differences among these alloys lie in the varying crystal particle sizes and the ratios of tungsten carbide to cobalt.
3.Welding Process: By using high-quality brazing materials, precise drilling tolerances, and mature brazing techniques, high-strength brazed joints are achieved to ensure the service life of the picks.

1. Both the pick holder and pick sleeve are forged from high - quality alloy structural steel. After machining, heat treatment is applied to bring out their excellent strength and toughness.
2. Local quenching is carried out at the inner hole and the connection of the hole end to ensure high hardness and good wear resistance. This extends the service life of the pick holder and pick sleeve, saves time, and improves work efficiency.
3. The higher - quality pick holder is made of carburized steel. Carburizing treatment is applied to the installation surface with the pick. The effective hardened layer depth can reach 3 mm, achieving higher surface hardness and better wear resistance, as well as a softer core for better impact resistance.
